THe first picture was nick on a timed picture when i spun my camera on a very small, untrustworthy string, the camra was set on night portrait. the one with the hand was taken on auto mode and i set my camra on my arm.

In this photo the light is hitting Aaron from the left side. I would say that this is a soft light with a fill light on the right.
